Being a dad is a tough gig. It’s hard work, but we love it.
Sometimes fathers feel like failures because we drop the ball or don’t live up to expectations.
We get pulled in a dozen directions by family, friends, work, chores, car repairs, hobbies, projects, and side hustles.
How can we have healthy marriages?
How do we raise responsible kids?
How can we have fulfilling careers?
How do we eat right and get in shape?
How can we remember to have fun?
How do we win at work, home, and life?
That’s what Dad Life Rules is all about.
Dad Life Rules!
You don’t have to choose between being a good husband, dad, or professional. You can find a rhythm to the roles you play and be successful at all three.
No good man wakes up and plans to fail at home, work, or life.
Of course not! Good men want to achieve greatness. To experience success in every area of their lives. At least I do.
Who the heck is KC?
I am a husband, dad, and writer. I like books, movies, LEGOs, coffee, photography, BBQ, and Seattle Seahawks football.
I’m married with 3 kids, 2 jobs, and a 4:00 AM alarm. Balancing the responsibilities of a husband, dad, and working stiff is challenging to say the least.
What to expect
Here on Dad Life Rules you’ll find 3 main topics:
- Home – Marriage, Kids, Family
- Work – Career, Productivity, Leadership
- Life – Fun, Fitness, Tech, Books
Do I have all the answers? Nope.
Am I the perfect husband? Nope.
Do I fail my kids sometimes? Yup.
Have I made career mistakes? You bet.
The dad life is a journey. I don’t have it all figured out, but I once in awhile I get it right. I’m here to share the adventure with you and help dads develop a framework to discover the best dad life possible.
